Science Bowl

How to Study to make the Team...

Protobowl.com/science its good for practicing buzzing, its online so can be intimidating if good people are online, also questions start out hard, but it is still very good for buzzing practice. There is also a Science Bowl room on protobowl.com but i forget the link but you can get the link by going to protobowl.com and clicking science bowl

Also there is an app called quizup which has many science categories and also a general science category it is very good for practicing science questions and is also a lot of fun, the questions are the same style as science bowl, some are easier and some harder, and they are all multiple choice. It is 1-on-1 online format so it is fast paced like science bowl and is also good buzzer practice but not as good as protobowl.

The best thing to do (for content practice not buzzer practice) is look at old sience bowl questions online and then google them and try to figure out why the right answer is correct (usually wikipedia is good but it depenss); do not to use sets 7 and 8 (not rounds 7 and 8, but sets 7 and 8) as we will be using these for tryouts and practices.

Lastly, it is good to just surf wikipedia and read science articles that seem interesting!!!  Most of all enjoy, learn and have FUN!!!
